Johnny Maudlin has been a regular Pistachio Studio client over the past couple of years, and truth be told, had a hand in the naming of the studio. He’s a prolific songwriter, a solid finger picker, and has a warm soothing voice that just draws you into his songs.
John Burn
John Burn’s “Season For Dreaming” CD, produced at Pistachio Studio and released in 2017, is a beautiful collection of original songs, reflecting his unique and eclectic journey through life.
Morning in Alaska
A recording project I’ve been involved with (as guitarist/engineer) over the last couple of years has just released an album. Bed tracks for Track 3, “Fire” (drums, bass, acoustic guitar, electric tremolo guitar) were recorded “live off the floor” at Pistachio Studio, as were slide guitar overdubs. Vocals and mixing were done at Riverside Studio in North Van.
John Bowman
This is a track off John Bowman’s second album. Guitar and vocal bend tracks were recorded at Pistachio Studio.
